After Messer Uberto betrayed Ezio's family, and make his father and brother punished by hanged in front of court, he swore to kill Uberto with his own hand and revenge his family. 

Luckily his sister and mother is safe, and being protected by his maid's sister, a mistress in side of the town. He then start training in stealth, teach by his maid's sister. He's being taught the art of crowd's disguise. He also get a weapon, a hidden blade weapon, fixed by his family friends, Leonardo da Vinci, that he get inside his house chest along side assassin robe and codex page.
