PPSSPP (PlayStation Portable Simulator Suitable for Playing Portably) is a PSP emulator, lighter than JPCSP. It use directx9 and opengl. Because of that, PPSSPP can be used in low end pc/laptop with the right setting (mostly with low graphic setting and auto frame skip). It still not a fully compatible with all game. Some game won't work, and some game will have graphic or ingame bug. But all game that I play mostly play smooth without bug.

I use PPSSPP because on my old low end Laptop, Acer Aspire 4738x, is so lag when using JPCSP. Using PPSSPP, my laptop can play game with low setting, but a high graphic psp game like Tekken 6, Metal Gear Solid Peace Maker, and God Of War still laggy.

On my new PC, all game run smooth with high setting. No frameskip, Upscale level ON, Anistrophic and texture filter ON.
